Kamino integrates with Squads, enabling any Squads Multisig to deposit into Kamino via the Squads X browser extension.

Squads X Setup

To begin using Squads with Kamino, you’ll need a Squads Multisig account and a Squads Business Subscription ($49/month).

Setup Steps

Follow these configuration steps:
  1. Download the Squads X browser extension from squads.so/extension
  2. Generate an access code in Squads and paste it into your extension
  3. Configure your password
  4. Paste your Squads X key back into Squads
  5. Execute the “Add Squads X” transaction on your Squad

Using Squads on Kamino

Step 1: Enable Fee Relayer

Configure the fee relayer to streamline your transaction experience:
  1. When prompted, you’ll be redirected to Squads Settings
  2. Enable the Fee Relayer option
  3. Execute the fee relayer transaction in your Squads Transactions queue
Enabling the fee relayer allows gas fees to be paid directly from your Squads SOL balance, improving the transaction experience.

Step 2: Deposit into Kamino

Once fee relayer is active:
  1. Select your deposit amount and confirm the transaction
  2. Navigate to your Squads Transactions
  3. Execute the Kamino transaction
Your deposit will appear in the Kamino UI once executed.
