# Overview

> Learn how to use Multiply in the Kamino app, including opening positions, selecting leverage, managing risk, and closing positions

Multiply Vaults let you open a leveraged position on Kamino without manually borrowing, swapping, looping, and managing each step yourself. Instead of building the position manually, you choose an asset, select your target leverage, and Multiply opens the full position for you in one transaction.

## Why use Multiply Vaults?

Multiply Vaults are designed for users who want a simpler way to access leveraged strategies on Kamino.

They may be useful if you want to:

* Open a leveraged position in one transaction
* Avoid manually borrowing, swapping, and re-supplying assets yourself
* Increase exposure to a yield-bearing asset or get directional exposure
* Manage the leveraged position in one-click transactions
* Access strategies that use Kamino Lend mechanics such as eMode where applicable
